Fred Perrine
Fred Perrine has served as the Sweden Highway Superintendent for five years. Prior to that he was the Superintendent of Public Works for the Village of Brockport for five years. Fred has accumulated more than 28 years experience in Public Works. He is a member of the NYS Association of Town Superintendents of Highways and a past president of the Western New York Village Superintendents Association.
As highway superintendent, Fred also oversees the development of playing fields at the Sweden Town Park and the operations at five cemeteries, including Lakeview and High Street, that are in the care of the Town of Sweden.
During the past five years, Fred’s crew has been responsible for the installation of three water districts and a sewer district. His department also undertook the re-alignment of the road leading to the Community Center and Royal Gardens Apartments, the reconstruction of Hollybrook Road and the expansion of the Senior Center parking lot.
Fred is a life-long resident of the Town of Sweden. His wife Debbie is a teacher at the Ginther Elementary School. They have two children: Erick, a student at SUNY Fredonia and Kelsey, a student at Brockport High School.
