Mark Depferd

Mark Depferd has served as the Town of Sweden Police Justice for seven years. He retired from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department in 1977 as a Captain and Zone Commander. Following his retirement, he worked as the Regional Security Director for Wilmorite Property Management for 16 years.

Mark served in the United States Army from 1964-1967. He is a life-time resident of the Town of Sweden and a member of the Nativity BVM Church. He and his wife Judy have two children: Michelle and Michael; and three grandchildren.

Mark is seeking another term as Sweden Police Justice because he believes it is an important way that he can contribute to his community.
